What to expect

 

When fishing with Sean Smith you can expect a safe, fun day of wading, and fishing selected waters to ensure the best possible outcome to catching fish. You will learn many different techniques for fly fishing including but not limited to: Dry Fly Presentation, Deep Water Nymphing, and Casting. Your provided with all the gear that you will need for your fly fishing trip including rods, reels, specific flies for selected waters, and limited waders. It is strongly recommended that you bring a good pair of Polarized sunglasses however if you forget... we have you covered.

Rates:

1/2 day is 4 hours on the water; full day is 8 hours on the water, with lunch included). Please inquire about how a full day can include early morning and dusk fishing. 

One Angler: 1/2 day, $125; Full Day $175

Two Anglers: 1/2 day, $200; Full Day $250

Fishing a local PRIVATE pond:

Each angler: $75 for 1-2 hours of casting instruction and catching. An additional $25 rod fee per angler for access to this pond.

To fish any of our rivers you will need a Virginiafishing license. Resident and non resident license can bepurchased online at www.dgif.virginia.gov/fishing/regulations/licenses.asp

Some rivers and creeks require an additional license or trout stamp.

Transportation: If you are staying at A Great Place, I will happily provide transportation for up to 3 people. If we fish a body or water more than an hour away, a $25.00 fuel fee is added.
